SOFTLITE SOFT SURFBOARDS MAD LAB HYBRID 8'0 - 2024 Model

Brand New for 2024/25 Season the Mad Lab is Hyrbid Construction Funboard Template designed to suit most skill levels in a variety of wave conditions.


Key Features:

HYBRID CONSTRUCTION - a stringered EPS Core, wrapped in fibreglass cloth, bamboo deck reinforcement & epoxy resin, which is then encapsulated by a traditional Softboard IXL Deck Skin and HD Slick.

CNC SHAPED PERFORMANCE TEMPLATE - This model uses a funboard template. It has plenty of foam through the chest to ensure it paddles fast, and a relaxed rocker to keep it moving in small waves, while the streamlined template and pulled in nose

TEXTURED DECK - We've added a full length, textured EVA deck to ensure you are never short of traction, and only minimal wax is required.

FUTURES FIN SYSTEM - This ensures it is easy to install and remove fins, and is compatible with other Future Fins, allowing you to change your fins to suit conditions or alter board performance.


This board features a Thruster Fin Set up using Futures Fin Boxes.

As well as all the usual Softlite features, this series has a few to extra's setting it apart from the rest.

Features

The boards are constructed using exclusive Softlite Moulds - This ensures that every board comes out identical with no imperfections. It also creates a harder shell of EPS foam on the outside making Softlite boards stiffer and more durable than competitors who use similar cores.

No screws on deck -No kicking your toes on screws, looks good and is easier to wax deck.
