HARDY SHAPES  Bodyboards Lilly Pollard Quad Concave NRG+ Core Model - 2021 Range

The Lilly Contour is Lilly's board for powerful waves and cooler waters that demand more flex and handling.  The first Hardy Shapes board to incorporate the Quad Concave Channels. Lilly has modified this model to allow more flex and comfort for pulling into heavy barreling waves and a responsive board in cooler water temps. It has a thinner nose, thumb grooves, NRG+ core with single stringer and a surlyn slick.

HARDY SHAPES MODEL: Lilly Pollard Quad Concave NRG+
CORE: NRG+ Core (1.4lb Polypro (PP) Core) with a layer of 1.9lb Polypro Core laminated on top to give the board added stiffness, durability & strength on the deck. Developed using cutting edge expansion cell technology the NRG Core has been specifically formulated to duplicate key performance characteristics found in original Dow cores. By incorportaing the latest advancements in calibrated cell fusion the NRG core posesses excellent recoil & projection properties. The lightest high performance core on the market. 100% waterproof.
QUAD CONCAVE
The QuadConcave can be broken down into two parts:
1. Central Double Concave - Tracks laminar (water) flow through the centre of the board keeping you higher on the wave face, which allows you to generate more speed into your bottom turns.
2. Outer Venturi Channels - Draws the laminar flow from a wider entry point into a narrow exit through the tail. Based on Bernoulli’s principle, the laminar flow increases in speed as it progresses through the channel, giving you more drive.  
The Quad Concave is precision shaped on our custom built AKU CNC shaping machine.
The AKU gives us the ability to design progressive channel and concave set-ups with incredible accuracy and consistency previously not possible by hand shaping.
